Beijing Jiatong University, Kenya Railways Corporation and UoN signed an MOU in September 2018 for the development of the Kenya Railway College to train skilled Manpower for the Standard Gauge Railway.

Cognizant of current problems associated to cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring in Kenya, the University of Nairobi and Cherami Africa Limited, a private investment company incorporated in China collaborated in September, 2018 to establish the University of Nairobi Cherami Cancer Research and Training Hospital (UNCCRTH).

The project has gone through a number of administrative and legal processes and most approvals have been granted. As such the documentation is almost finalized.

The University of Nairobi proposed to establish a modernized Engineering and Science Complex with the aim of nurturing graduates to support Africa’s industrialization.
