The Ukrainian Ambassador to Kenya, H.E Amb. Pravednyk Andrii Ivanovych  on Wednesday,  January 19, 2022,  told the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nairobi that there are a number of Universities in Ukraine looking for Kiswahili Scholars. He said that the embassy would be keen to work with UoN to fill the gap. The Ambassador said he will facilitate the collaboration between the University of Nairobi and Ukrainian Universities in various fields of mutual interests.

Friday, January 14, 2022 will go down in history as the day the University of Nairobi switched on its channels signal; tagged UNC TV and UNC Radio.

The Vice Chancellor Prof. Stephen Kiama Gitahi led the University managers in signing their performance contracts for the year 2021/2022 at a ceremony held on 6th January 2022 in Taifa hall.
