The University of Nairobi, Art-Life Group, Kenya National Commission- UNESCO (KNATCOM) and Safaricom PLC in partnership with various stakeholders in the creative industry held a conference dubbed Art-Life Keep-it-lit conference.
The long awaited Research Week 2021 is finally here and the numbers are quite impressive. There are over 500 participants, 30+ keynote presentations, 150 abstracts, and 8 conferences with the overarching theme ‘Rethinking Research, Innovation & Technology for Sustainable Development.’
Today, November 8, 2021, would have been Prof. Okoth Okombo’s 71st birthday. Prof. Okombo was a great man; he was a leading academic on communication and leadership; a man who was articulate, with a great command of language, valorizing the aesthetic value of language. We remember Prof. Duncan Okoth Okombo, a distinguished linguist.
