The University of Nairobi has partnered with the Open University in the UK, to host a two day hybrid workshop on the Skills for Prosperity. Over 30 Kenyan universities were invited  including ; Kenyatta University, Maseno University, Kibabii University, Multi Media university ,Chuka University, Technical University of Mombasa, South East Kenya university,Masaai Mara University ,Kisii university.

The University held its annual international students day at the iconic Taifa Hall on the 25^th of November 2022 under the theme “appreciating the diversity of our cultures”. Every year, the university sets a day to celebrate international students who make up to 1428 of the total student population.

The event was graced by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama, DVC Academic Affairs Prof. Julius Ogeng’o, AVC RIE Prof. Margeret Hutchinson, Senate, Dean of Students Mr. Johnson Kinyua and UNSA leadership.
